Silver foil around the neck of a green beer bottle is the iconic Becks brand. This brief sought to riff on the popular habit of scratching off this foil whilst drinking, and merge it with the classic walking line animation - La Linea by Italian cartoonist, Osvaldo Cavandoli. We follow the loose narrative of a happy-go-lucky guy on vacation as he base jumps, swims with a manta ray, body surfs, parties and ultimately falls in love. A library of elements was created by experimenting with the product in front of a macro lens. These elements were then Photoshopped into the final concepts.
