Artjail is a visual effects studio with facilities in New York and Toronto. In 2022 they opened a third studio in Los Angeles. The partner of this location approached me to create an artwork to celebrate this new venture. The brief: develop three sculptures that unite to form a single artwork inspired by the Artjail logo. The sculptures will be assembled only once, when presented, then displayed individually at each studio. A surprise for the studio partners, the presentation of the sculptures and the experience of their assembly was an important consideration.
